The AVOSC Series Avocado Pomace Drying Line is specially developed for avocado pomace. With over ten years of development, it has served numerous clients across Africa and the Americas, enabling resource recovery of waste avocado pomace, cutting production costs and accelerating capital turnover. For mature cold-pressed avocado oil, fresh avocados are peeled, pitted, pulped, kneaded at low temperature and then centrifuged for oil separation. The wet pomace after primary separation usually has a moisture content of around 75% (wet basis) and residual oil content of approximately 6–12%. If left unused, this pomace will spoil within 1 to 2 days under the high-temperature conditions in producing regions. It is a common practice in the industry to feed the wet pomace into Taida AVOSC Series avocado pomace drying lines. After drying, the material is stored in warehouses for temporary stocking, followed by secondary pressing or solvent extraction to recover residual oil. The pomace after oil recovery can be sent back to the avocado pomace dryer and finally sold as animal feed. The whole process achieves maximum resource utilization.

The core equipment of the production line is the OSC Type Avocado Pomace Dryer. It can operate independently or be integrated into the T.S. process or B.R.D. process. Its key advantages are as follows: First, minimal loss of nutritional components, preventing loss of added value during secondary utilization. Second, the patented special structural design delivers strong anti-sticking performance. There is no risk of material caking and bed blockage caused by highly viscous feedstock such as avocado pomace during drying. Third, flash drying is available. Flash drying means the material is subjected to limited thermal impact, so discoloration and denaturation can be well controlled.

The AVOSC production line is optimized in material breaking, conveying, hot air distribution and temperature control systems to address the characteristics of avocado pomace: high viscosity, tendency to agglomerate, and susceptibility to oxidation due to oil content. It runs stably with low risk of wall adhesion and blockage. Balancing drying efficiency and finished product quality, it meets the requirements of continuous industrial production in producing areas. It serves as core supporting equipment for avocado oil mills to improve overall profitability and dispose of processing solid waste in compliance with regulations.
