Product Description

  Micro powder dryer is a special drying equipment developed by our company for ultra-fine powder materials (micron/nano wet raw materials). It has multiple advantages, like environmental protection, energy saving, low pollution and low loss. Taeda micro powder drying production line has been used for many years in ultra-fine grinding/abrasives industry and carbon black industry for many years. Taeda micro powder dryer is featured in longer service life, simple operation and less quick wear parts.

  Taeda micro powder dryer is suitable for drying various powder raw materials. Common materials include silicon carbide, activated carbon, graphite drying, ammonia perchlorate, glycine, lithium carbonate, nickel powder and other small specific gravity materials. Relying on high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, small footprint, simple configuration, convenient operation and control and good operating environment, Taeda micro powder dryer can also be used for drying ultra-fine powder materials in the chemical industry such as black silicon carbide powder, silicon carbide powder, green silicon carbide Micropowder, light calcium carbonate, nanometer superfine calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, strontium carbonate, barium carbonate, sosso powder, barium sulfate, potassium sulfate, nickel sulfate, lithium hydroxide, nickel hydroxide, barium chloride , Calcium chloride, lithium carbonate, zinc sulfate and etc. 
Working principle: 

  Wet material are sent to hopper by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator and then enter feeding end through the feeding pipe through the feeding machine of the hopper, where the slope of the feeding pipe is greater than the natural inclination of the material so that the material can flow smoothly into the dryer. The dryer body is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined to the horizontal level. Material are added from the higher end and heat carrier enters from lower end. Hot air contacts with  material in countercurrent form.  There is also such situation where materials and hot air enter dryer from same direction.  Material move to lower end under the action of gravity. When wet material moves forward in the cylinder, it directly or indirectly receives heat from the heating medium, so that the wet material can be dried. Dried products are sent out through belt or screw conveyor at the discharge end. There are lifting boards set on the inner wall of the cylinder, which is used to lift and scatter materials repeatedly so that contact surface between materials and hot airflow is increased. Correspondingly, drying rate is speeded up. After heating medium passing through micro powder dryer, cyclone dust collector is generally required to capture the materials carried in the exhaust gas. If customer wants to further reduce dust content of exhaust gas, bag filter or a wet dust collector are will be installed.
