Ceramsite sand is a kind of ceramic particle product which is mainly produced by sintering bauxite and other similar raw materials. With high fracturing strength, ceramsite is a substitute for medium and low-strength petroleum proppants such as natural quartz sand. It has good effects for improving production of natural gas.
Ceramsite sand rotary kiln designed by Taida company for petroleum fracturing proppant industry is featured in strong calcination capacity, high thermal efficiency and uniform product.
After being crushed, bauxite with 300-500mm particle size will be sent to the bauxite dryer for drying. Then, raw material will pass through batching station with manganese powder and additives. Followingly, grinding system with a vortex powder separator will be used to prepare raw powder with above 400 mesh fineness. Granulated pellet enter dryer set at end of the Ceramsite sand rotary kiln. Waste heat of exhaust gas from kiln end is used to reduce the moisture of pellets. Then, screened pellets will enter rotary kiln for calcining. Calcined ceramsite sand is cooled by a single cooler and then passed through a cylindrical screen for sieving and packing.
