Rod extruding machine is a kind of screw type extruding equipment developed by Taeda Company. Screw works with extruding mold to make wood rod and charcoal rod. Rod extruding machine is also called briquetting machine, charcoal machine and coal rod machine. 

After being crushed, biomass materials suitable for rod extruding machine (sawdust, wood shaving, bamboo shaving, bark, twig, walnut shell, chestnut shell, cotton stalk, sesame stalk, corn stalk, sunflower stalk, soybean stalk, rice husk, bagasse, corn cob and etc. ) will be extruded and briquetted into wood rod with holes in four-sided, six-sided or square shape. Besides, carbonized products can also be extruded and briquetted into BBQ charcoal rod. No matter raw material is biomass or charcoal, Taeda rod extruding machine is always used as necessary processing equipment for carbonization production. 

Working principle: 

Screw type extruding machine adopts variable pitch impeller which will strongly push forward powder materials at rear part of machine drum. After volume is compacted, powder material in drum will be extrude into hollow long rod through round hole of front machine head. Round holes holds different shapes like hollow hexagon, square, plum blossom, sexangle, round rod and other required shapes. According to customers’ demand, heating ring and automatic cutting device can be added at rod outlet. Final rod product holds wide application range like barbecue, domestic heating, shisha, agriculture, industry, energy and transportation.
